Where did you get your rabbit castle?

I lost my rabbit this morning due to my husky inducing her to have a fear induced heart attack. My dad told me to move on quickly so that’s what I’m telling them now. That I moved on in the span of hours. Like he told me to do. My husky had predator instincts that she could not control. And she thought that my rabbit was a stuffed animal, cause she had a false pregnancy and has been hoarding stuffies ever since we got her, and wanted to treat her as such. I’m very adamant that I moved on. Is that healthy?

I only pick my bunny up if i have a hoodie on (she scratches) which is very difficult in the summer.

I know this video is a year old. But I believe I was meant to stumble upon this video. Almost 2 weeks ago, we lost our baby bun Smudge. I adopted him almost 6 years ago as a rescue. He became my unofficial emotional support animal. He was my therapist when I was in my darkest moments. He was my child and my best friend. He became ill and I stayed by his side for 6 hours at the emergency vet until his heart beat for the last time. I feel lost without him and I still haven’t gotten used to him not running to me when I come home. His baby bun brother Jesse feels lost after losing his big brother. We spend as much time with him as possible so he knows he’s not alone. They were inseparable. We miss him so much. I’m so sorry for your loss of Ash. Maybe he and Smudge will meet up there one day. I hope you download videos again one day soon. I just subscribed.

i love this, i just got my first rabbit and i swore to my family i would only have one ....... i pick my second bun up tomorrow :0 so excited but i feel you and how you just kept being constant lol

i have a question if anyone can answer ! ☺️ I adopted a 1 1/2 yr old male bunny and i want to get it a companion. Would getting him a male baby bunny be easier to bond than for him to bond with a bunny his age ? or should i get a bunny his age ? thank you.

I have xtra large littter box open and I have another hooded litter box because my buns like the hooded one to use primarily as a digging around box. I agree it smells less with the open one. they don't pee in the hooded one for some reason, so I don't have to change it often. Being a pet owner is about giving your pet what THEY need, not the other way around. Accept them for their natural instincts, because you cannot change them. Less stress for a happy bun.

I clean my rabbit twice a day, she has hay in her hatch, she doesnt even sleep in there over night, she has the whole lounge to run a about still doesnt like being picked up scratches me. I give her hay, vegetables and little pallets, clean water every day, fresh flowers 1 head a day. What a lucky girl.

I lost Lili, my beloved bun on 18th February, 2024, and that left us with her sister Coco. We grieved and took some time before getting fluffy. Yesterday, Coco passed... A predator got In and... She chased him away but died from the stress. I miss them so much, what I wouldn't do to see my beautiful girls one more time and say a proper goodbye 😭

I use newspaper, free and going unused anyway, then 2 handfuls of litter on top.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My two rabbits passed away in 2018, but I've found a new furry friend named Max.

I lost my boy last Thursday. He was so ingrained in my life. I didn't think it was going to be this soon or hurt this much. And it's not easy.

Still a litter train+fix rabbit does mean they poop and pee less outside the litter box.

there are rabbits that are not able to bond with other rabbits due to their situation, for example rabbits that are rescues from backyard conditions where they were preyed upon before being rescued. Just want to share information that are situations that make it impossible, so the most important thing for those bunnies is to provide a safe and nurturing home.

if they keep fighting, means they prefer to be alone right? and we force them to "bond" so that they wont be "alone"?

I've have around 6 rabbits throughout childhood. I recently took in a mom, dad, and last surviving baby (pedigree Holland lops) that are very tame and litter trained. Keeping these buns indoor with proper enrichment, food, care, etc. They are already spoiled but deserve it 🥹🥰

Long shot since it’s an old video, but I just picked up a rabbit on the side of the road (happy Easter!). I already have a 3 year old I got the same exact way. Gonna try to bond them but the new one is like 3 months old and I don’t think can be neutered yet. They’re both male too, my 3 year old is neutered. Is it safe to start bonding them or should I separate them until the new guy gets neutered?

i lost mine in january, her name was Natalia, i had her since september 2022. I gave her a nice burial. It hurt losing her, i tried to revive her but the rigor mortis had already set in. I adpoted two guinea pigs because i couldn't get another rabbit, if i did, it would have been an insult to Natalia's memory.

Someone please help me. I have two holland lops that are 6 months old girls and sisters. They have shown no signs of aggression towards each other until one of them starting chasing the other and trying to mount her, but the other runs away. Should I separate them even though they aren’t biting? I’m worried the might get more aggressive when I’m not around and I don’t want either getting hurt

I just buried my baby yesterday after she was euthanized at the vet :'( its so hard

Around a week ago now out of nowhere my rabbit (pablo) died at the start of my holidays he was fine the day before but when I woke up in the morning and he was sitting in the corner with a physically hard stomach he wasn't fine the day before but around 12 midday my parents took him to the vet when they came back I was waiting to see him but they said that he had to stay there for a bit and they would go pick him up at 1:30. So eventually they go to the vet again and don't return with Pablo and they said the vet is just gonna keep him there for a bit to check in on him and make sure he is ok. So at 7:30 my parents call me and my brother down to the living room and say that Pablo probably isn't going to make it so it would be best if we went and said our good byes that was the last time I saw him I had him for 3 years 😭😭😭

From this video, it seems that if the rabbit cannot adapt to our desire to keep it, then what's the point? Just replace it with another rabbit that is friendlier. It's like being friends with someone who genuinely wants to have a good relationship with us. Get rid of toxic friends.

Toodles never pooped or peed outside her box. She did kick some out when she jumps out. She was a small bun and I had two oversized boxes for her. Empty box every other day seems to be best. Nice set up. Your bunnies look happy.

The guilt is insane! I've lost two rabbits and I just keep thinking about how I could have done better. I have one left and idk, I feel so bad for him. It's tough to not spend every waking moment with him because I don't want him to feel lonely or scared.

I lost my rabbit 2 days back she was just 2 1/2 yrs old her name was ezzy she was my soulmate .i travel alot so she comes with me whereever i go I miss her alot its like only one who understand me left me alone I can’t stop crying .
